Best Week Ever!

Coonfest 2009 was a blast! I loved meeting up with my friends and hangin' out. We had a great time playing Guitar Hero and seeing the sites around Lake Charles. I misss them already. I think I want to move to Louisiana. I just wish Barksdale wasn't the only way to do that. Ugh. I think I'd suck it up thought to be near my sister Lori. She's the best. She and her hubby made me feel right at home. I can't wait to take Dale for a visit. He will love the food as much as I did, with the exception of crawfish and shrimp. He has got to have a Darrell's po' boy no matter what. They are too die for! I seriously think Louisiana cookin' could replace Greek as my favorite food. So unhealthy but so yummy. Can't wait to try my hand at making gumbo now that I've got real roux to start with and file to finish with; just wish I had some tasso to round it out. Oh, well gotta go with what ya got. Right? I'm sure it will still be awesome. Almost as awesome as a drive thru liquor store.
